 Great Lakes Championship Results

The Great Lakes Conference Championship took place past weekend.  Cincinnati took 2nd place to Purdue, with Michigan falling to 3rd.  It was acold and windy weekend, but the Cincinnati girls were able to hold it together with great slalom and trick scores!  Highlights included Chris Van Treese taking 1st place in trick and 2nd overall, Kacy Clifton taking 2nd in trick, and Amanda Thress taking 3rd overall.  Cincinnati's most important test of the year comes this weekend at the Midwest Regional Championship at Pitts Lake in Decatur, Illinois.  If we place in the top 5 we will be going to nationals for the second year in a row and will be able to defend our D-II National Championship from last year.  If we can make the top 3 at regionals, Cincinnati will make it to the D-I for the first time ever!!  Cheer on Cincinnati this weekend.
