UC Takes Home the Ball State Fling Title

 The University of Cincinnati kicked of the collegiate tournament season last weekend with its first ever victory over Purdue University at the Ball State Fling in Van Wert, Ohio.  Cincinnati shocked Purdue with their first loss in over a decade!  Highlights from the tournament include Brad Ruff placing first in jump with 93 feet and taking first in mens overall with Chris Van Treese taking second place with 85 feet.  Chris Van Treese took first place in men's trick with 1880 points and second in overall, Kacy Clifton placed third in women's trick with 770 points, and Casey Thress placed sixth with 410 points.  This was a great opening tournament for Cincinnati.  UC will be hosting the Bearcat Buoy Battle this weekend at Lake Lottawatta in Hamilton, Ohio.  Come out to see if the Bearcats can pull off another victory.
