Welcome to the UC Waterski Team The waterski team is a club sport at the University of Cincinnati that has been around since the late 90's. The team is funded through the school and by team fundraising. All students are elgible to join the team, however to compete in the college tournaments you must meet a few requirements.
The team skis from April through October, competing on the National level September through October at collegiate tournaments in slalom, trick, & jump. You don't have to be a tournament skier to have fun with the team. There are many social gatherings throughout the year that the team enjoy outside of tournaments. Events such as the Spring Houseboat trip to Dale Hollow Lake, weekend trips to team member's lake houses, Spring and Winter break trips to Lucky Lowe Ski School in Florida, are just a few of the things the team takes part in every year.
We currently practice on Monday nights at Extreme Watersports in Newtown, evenings/weekends on the Ohio and Licking Riveres, and any other free time we have on the weekends.
