Midwest Regionals!
The UC Waterski Team competed at the Midwest Regional Collegiate Tournament this past weekend and secured their fourth consecutive bid to Collegiate Nationals! UC placed 3rd overall, behind Wisconsin La Crosse and Ohio State. A 3rd place finish is enough to send the team to Collegiate Division 1 Nationals for the first time in school history. La Crosse, OSU, and UC will be joined at Nationals by Purdue and Wisconsin Madison, who will be competing in Division 2 action. Collegiate Nationals will be hosted at Bennett's Water Ski School in Zachary, LA on October 13-15.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS!!!
Congratulations to the UC Water Ski team for winning the Great Lakes Conference Championships for the first time in club history! The team pulled out a close victory over Ohio State at Pleasant Shores last weekend and will advance to Midwest Regionals at the PITS in Decatur, IL next weekend (9/30-10/2). The team had a strong showing, including several event pb's and a few team record tying runs. UC will be seeded 4th in the Regional Tournament. Good luck to all the UC skiers and keep up the good work!

Ball State Fling!
The UC Club Waterski Club competed in the Ball State Fling this past weekend on September 17 and 18 at Pleasant Shores Lake in Van Wert, Ohio. The team had an awesome showing, placing first overall in the tournament! Chris Van Treese set a new school record in Men's Jump with a jump of 114 ft. The women's team had a strong showing with 4 girls placing in the top 10 in overall scores. UC is now 6th in National Collegiate rankings and 2nd in the Midwest Region. Hopefully they can keep the great skiing up at the Conference tournament this weekend!
