On August 11th, 2010 we will be having another cookout with the Cincinnati Ski Club at the Hartwell Recreation Center, 59 Caldwell Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45216, with food being served around 6:30 pm. The team will be doing a BBQ style cookout with pulled chicken/pork sandwiches, corn on the cob, cole slaw and other BBQ favorites. We just ask that team members help out with the food by bringing a dessert. We plan on making this the biggest cookout yet with music, corn hole and other outdoor activities. So bring your friends and family to help raise money for the club. Come join us see what Cincinnati Ski Clubs are all about!
Cincy Ski Club Cookout 7/14/10
On Wednesday the 14th we will be having anotherfundraiser with the Cincinnati Ski Club at the HartwellRecreationCenter, 59 Caldwell Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45216. The team will be doing a spaghetti dinner for the club. The team will provide the spaghetti with regular sauce/meatballs/grilled chicken also we are having side salads and Breadsticks. If people would make some deserts or sides that would be GREAT. Also, we will be doing our normal split the pot raffle and selling apparel and fancy new 32oz plastic cups. This is a great fundraiser for the Team and like always there will $2 32oz beers for sale by the Cincinnati Ski Club. You might want to bring your rain gear....we have a tendency to attract the thunder
The Team will be having a Fundraiser at Hyde Park on Thursday May 6, 2010. The bar that it will be located at will be McMurphy's, address is 2910 Wasson Road Cincinnati, OH 45209. We will be cooking hamburgers and will have several different kinds of desserts. The event starts at 5:00 P.M. Come on out and support us!
Practice 4/26/2010
Just to let everyone know, practice for tonight has been cancelled due to surrounding weather. However, instead of practice tonight, the team will be meeting at the Rec at 6:30 for a team workout session.
Spring Training
It's kinda like watching a baby deer take its first clumbsy steps ....
The waterski team is a club sport at the University of Cincinnati that has been around since the late 90's. The team is funded through the school and by team fundraising. All students are elgible to join the team, however to compete in the college tournaments you must meet a few requirements.
